AWARDS AND PUBLICATIONS
Kollgata arkitektúr has in the past been honored with a few awards. They have been granted for work of a diverse nature, ranging from small addition to an old residential building, to a complete renovation of a delapidated building, to a new residential building, to a public building.
Kollgata´s projects have been published in a number of Icelandic magazines and newspapers in the past and recently the project at the Botanical gardens in Akureyri has received attention on several websites and web-blogs focusing on architecture and design.

The Café at the Botanical gardens in Akureyri is built in 2012 and was nominated as one of four works to represent Iceland in the Mies van der Rohe awards as well as receiving the 34th annual cultural prize from the Icelandic newspaper DV.
Launched in 1987, this Prize is co-funded by the EU Culture Programme and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe. By highlighting excellent architectural works that have been constructed over the last two years, the Prize draws attention to the contribution of European professionals in the development of new ideas and technologies, as well as the cultural importance of architecture in the construction of our cities.

Helgamagrastræti
The addition to an old residential building in the modernist style built in the 30s received the Akureyri architecture award in 2007.
The villa at Hindarlundur in Akureyri is built in 1996 and is one of Logi´s first designs ever built.
It received the Akureyri architecture award in 1999.
The old Potato Storage facility was completely renovated by Kollgata arkitektur as their offices in 2005 and received the Akureyri architecture award the following year.
